Even the heaviest rain starts with a drop
SUSTAINABILITY is very important to us. We get our electricity from our solar panels and the underfloor heating and hot water are powered by the heat pumps.
Not only did we install two heat pumps and put PV on the roof, we refurbished the old house instead of tearing it down and also restored a lot of the old furniture instead of throwing it all away and buying new. We made the canopy for the bikes out of old sails and covered old furniture with canvas, adding some nice touches.
NATURAL POOL
We have built a natural pool, because we do not want a chlorine pool, where you have to change an infinite amount of water once a year. Our pool has a natural filter area that ensures that the water has drinking quality.
ECO-FRIENDLY PRODUCTS
We try to make a contribution by only using environmentally friendly products for washing and cleaning and by buying organic textiles for the beds and bathrooms. We clean the floor with hot steam to keep the apartments clean in a hygienic and environmentally friendly way.
BEE LOVE
We have a small organic vegetable garden and an organic snack garden. When designing the garden, we made sure to use a lot of bee and insect friendly plants.
CONSISTENT
We have two heat pumps that heat the house and the pool with the electricity from our PV system.
