ART ON FLOOR Artistic concept
The design of interiors requires a precise eye for detail - because space is not just space. Even when designing a floor, I take into account general conditions such as the division and function of the room. From this information, my ideas and those of the customer, I develop individually tailored overall concepts that make floors unique in an artistic design language. Rooms are created that are as individual as the people who use them every day. Created with passion and born out of my enthusiasm for all things beautiful. Rooms in which floor, wall, ceiling and furnishings form a unique overall composition. Real one-offs.
#Mission
I create squares, locations and spaces that are as individual as the people who use them every day. They are, so to speak, capsules of my passion and my love for everything beautiful. Rooms in which floor, walls, ceiling and furnishings create a unique overall composition. Colors for feelings and spatial orientation. In short – unique works of art.
#Vision
Passion and joy in beauty - in our surroundings and our rooms. See and understand what is given. This is the expression of what we are. Because what is true is what we believe to be true.
#Expert
Jeanet Hönig is an expert in color aesthetics and orientation in space. Color and space, the cornerstones of her work, should be aesthetic and functional at the same time - arouse emotions, provide orientation. Color is a visual experience that works subconsciously on our emotions. Space is a mental experience that subconsciously affects our orientation and security.

ART
The artist draws circles and lines on monochrome foundations. Each color stands on its own and is not mixed with any other. Each color can independently realize itself. The material PU, a two-component casting resin, as well as the painting technique with a watering can, require maximum concentration. Corrections as with glazing painting techniques are not possible. In her works, lines and circles combine to form networks and thus reflect the artist's philosophy: "There is a deeper network of everything that exists, without beginning or end. We are what we think. Everything that we are comes from our thoughts. We make the world with our thoughts. The world is what we see.”
Is she an artist or a designer? "I'm in the fortunate position of being both," says Jeanet Hönig. “Because my art on the floor is space-shaping and functional – which is generally attributed to design. But the type of design, whether on the floor or on the canvas, is the same: a thoroughly creative and intuitive process.” With the term “FloorART”, Hönig gave her union of art and design her own name. She has her finger on the pulse, as the list of international clients shows: Bayer, BASF, Escada, Henkel, Parkhotel Adler, Philips and many more. Outside of Europe, Jeanet Hönig also realized FloorART projects in the USA and Lebanon.
